1. Sponsor This promotion (the “Promotion”) is sponsored by bartaco, 671 N Glebe Rd Suite 600, Arlington, Virginia 22203 (“Sponsor”).
2. Eligibility Open to legal residents of the United States and Washington, D.C. who are 21 years of age or older at time of entry. Employees, officers, directors, and agents of Sponsor, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising/promotion agencies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parent, child, sibling and their respective spouses) and household members (whether related or not) are not eligible. Void where prohibited by law.
3. Promotion Period Begins February 18, 2026 at 12:00:00 a.m. ET and ends March 31, 2026 at 11:59:59 p.m. ET (the “Promotion Period”). Sponsor’s clock is the official timekeeper.
4. Promotion Overview During the Promotion Period, participants may earn stamps by visiting a participating bartaco location during each specified promotion week (each, a ‘Promotion Week’). One (1) stamp may be earned per person per Promotion Week, regardless of number of visits. Guest must be present to receive stamp. The Promotion includes: 1. A guaranteed merch reward for eligible participants who properly submit a passport with three (3) or more stamps (while supplies last); and 2. A sweepstakes drawing for a Grand Prize among eligible participants who properly submit a passport with five (5) stamps (or enter via AMOE).
5. How to Participate / Enter 1. Passport Participation (In-Restaurant / Program Participation) During the Promotion Period, participants may earn stamps by visiting a participating bartaco location during each of the five (5) specified promotion weeks (each, a “Promotion Week”).
● Week 1: 2/18/26-2/24/26 (Costa Rica)
● Week 2: 2/25/26-3/3/26 (Mexico)
● Week 3: 3/4/26-3/10/26 (Brazil)
● Week 4: 3/11/26-3/17/26 (South Korea)
● Week 5: 3/18/26-3/31/26 (Hawaii)
(extended Promotion Week) Promotion Weeks and any additional instructions will be described on the official program materials. Stamps and passports are subject to verification by bartaco. Merch Reward (3+ Stamps): Participants who submit a passport with three (3) or more stamps in accordance with program instructions by the end of the Promotion Period will receive one (1) bartaco merch item (the “Merch Reward”), while supplies last, subject to the limits below. Grand Prize Sweepstakes Entry (5 Stamps):Participants who submit a passport with five (5) stamps in accordance with program instructions by the end of the Promotion Period will receive one (1) entry into the Grand Prize drawing. Limits:
● Merch Reward: Limit one (1) Merch Reward per person during the Promotion Period, regardless of location, while supplies last.
● Grand Prize: Limit one (1) sweepstakes entry per person during the Promotion Period, regardless of method of entry.
2. Alternate Method of Entry (AMOE) – Mail-In (Grand Prize Only) To enter the Grand Prize drawing without completing stamps, handprint your full name, mailing address, phone number, email address, and date of birth on a 3”x5” card and mail in a stamped envelope to: Bartaco Escape Promotion, 671 N Glebe Rd Suite 600, Arlington, Virginia 22203. Handwritten entries only; mechanically reproduced entries are not permitted. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by March 31, 2026 and received by April 7, 2026. Limit one (1) AMOE entry per envelope and one (1) AMOE entry per person. AMOE entries are eligible for the Grand Prize drawing only and do not qualify for the Merch Reward.
6. Merch Reward Details (3+ Stamps) Merch Reward: One (1) bartaco merch item per eligible passport submission with 3+ stamps, while supplies last.
● Merch item selection, style, color, size (if applicable), and availability are determined by Sponsor and/or location in its sole discretion.
● Merch may vary by location and is available only at participating locations while inventory lasts in its sole discretion.
● No rain checks. No cash substitution. Non-transferable. Not for resale.
● Sponsor is not responsible for out-of-stock merch or inventory constraints. Approximate Retail Value (“ARV”): Varies by item.
7. Grand Prize (5 Stamps / AMOE) Grand Prize – One (1) Winner: One (1) winner will receive a trip for two (2) (winner and one (1) guest) to one (1) of five (5) featured destinations (winner’s choice, subject to availability and Sponsor approval) (the “Trip”). The Trip includes: ● Round-trip economy airfare for two (2) from a major commercial airport near winner’s residence (as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion);
● Three (3) nights’ hotel accommodations at a mid-range hotel, single room, double occupancy; and
● A $500 destination spend (awarded as prepaid card).
Total prize value: up to $3,000 (the “Maximum Prize Value”). Actual value may vary based on selected destination, travel dates, and booking costs, and will not exceed the Maximum Prize Value. Any portion of the Maximum Prize Value not used is forfeited and will not be awarded as cash or credit. Winner and guest are responsible for all costs and expenses not expressly stated above, including but not limited to meals and beverages (unless specified), incidentals, resort fees (if applicable), tips, baggage fees, seat upgrades, local transportation beyond what is included, passports/visas, and travel insurance.
8. Odds Odds of winning the Grand Prize depend on the number of eligible sweepstakes entries received.
9. Winner Selection & Drawing Date The Grand Prize winner will be selected in a random drawing conducted by Sponsor (or its designee) on or about April 10, 2026 from among all eligible entries received.
10. Winner Notification Potential winner will be notified via email using the contact information provided and may be required to sign and return an Affidavit of Eligibility/Liability Release and, where lawful, a Publicity Release within five (5) days of notification. If a potential winner cannot be contacted, fails to respond, fails to return required documents on time, is found ineligible, or declines the prize, the prize may be forfeited and an alternate winner may be selected.
11. Taxes Winner is responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes associated with receipt and/or use of the Grand Prize. Sponsor may issue an IRS Form 1099 to winner for the actual value of the prize as required by law. Winner may be required to complete and return an IRS Form W-9 prior to prize award. If winner fails to timely provide required documentation, winner may be disqualified and an alternate winner may be selected.
12. Trip Conditions (Grand Prize) Trip must be booked through Sponsor or Sponsor’s designated travel provider. Trip must be completed by December 31, 2026 (or such other date as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion). Travel dates are subject to availability and may be subject to blackout dates and other restrictions. Winner and guest must travel on the same itinerary unless Sponsor approves otherwise. Guest must be 21 years of age or older and may be required to execute a liability/publicity release where lawful. Winner is responsible for ensuring that winner and guest have all required travel documents (including valid passports), and for compliance with all applicable laws and airline/hotel policies. Sponsor is not responsible for delays, cancellations, or changes due to airline/hotel issues, weather, acts of God, public health guidance, government action, or other events beyond Sponsor’s control.
13. Publicity Except where prohibited, acceptance of the Grand Prize constitutes permission for Sponsor to use winner’s name, likeness, city/state, and prize information for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation.
14. Release & Limitation of Liability By participating, entrants agree to release and hold harmless Sponsor and its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, and their respective officers, directors, employees, and agents from any liability for, including but not limited to, injuries, losses, or damages of any kind arising from participation in the Promotion or acceptance/use of any prize. Sponsor is not responsible for lost, late, incomplete, invalid, unintelligible, or misdirected entries or for technical failures of any kind.
15. General Conditions Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify any participant it finds to be tampering with the participation/entry process or violating these Official Rules. Sponsor may cancel, suspend, or modify the Promotion if fraud, technical failures, or any other factor impairs the integrity of the Promotion, as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion.
16. Privacy By submitting a passport (including providing an email address), participant agrees to receive marketing email communications from Sponsor. Participant may opt out at any time by using the unsubscribe link in any email. Information collected will be used in accordance with Sponsor’s Privacy Policy: https://bartaco.com/privacy-policy/
17. Accessibility Sponsor is committed to providing reasonable accommodations to individuals with disabilities to enable participation in the Promotion. Individuals who require an accommodation to participate may contact Sponsor at marketing@bartaco.com during the Promotion Period. Requests will be evaluated on a case-by-case basis.
18. Disputes / Governing Law Except where prohibited, participants agree that any disputes will be resolved individually (without class action) and exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Arlington, VA under the laws of Virginia.
19. Winners List To request the Grand Prize winner’s name (available after April 15, 2026), send a self-addressed stamped envelope to: Bartaco Escape Promotion, 671 N Glebe Rd Suite 600, Arlington, Virginia 22203 by May 15, 2026.
