Step into this chic eatery with a distinctly coastal vibe, and you’ll feel like you’re at a local oceanside restaurant on the edge of the world. “Our main goal was to create a getaway for customers — a place where they could come and be transported — an escape from the everyday and ordinary,” says bartaco President Scott Lawton. The atmosphere and design of the uber-cool interiors were inspired by the world travels and amazing photography of bartaco Co-founder Sasa Mahr-Batuz. “As for the menu, we were inspired by a visit to an area in New Haven, Connecticut, on the water, where tons of food trucks gather,” says Scott. “Together, the vibe and food create a place that’s unique and really fun. We are the place where parents can bring their kids for a casual dinner and the go-to spot for celebrations. We are also a great bar option for locals to pop in after work. bartaco makes it easy for guests to come as they are, and we shape the experience to ensure each guest has a great time.”
